Out and back on trail from wells fargo

I have had chronic trouble with my achilles since my last big mileage week in November.  I was really excited to get back running after just getting over major plantar fascitis.  Well, my calves got tight; I wnet to get a massage and the nastiness in my calves moved right into my left achilles.  At one point it was so badmy achilles was swollen like a bratwurst and I couldnt walk up or down the stairs because i couldnt put pressure on my forefoot.

I dealt with it through the first part of january, then took 2 weeks almost completely off.  I have felt way better the last 2 weeks with 2 ibuprofen every day, ice twice a day, and stretching right after I run.

I wasn't sure if I could make boston because of injury after injury, but after the 14 on saturday, I am going to go for it.  I wont do great, but I just want to enjoy the race and the atmosphere.  I feel way out of shape compared to the last 3 years, but I will do what I can do without getting injured again.  It is all for fun right now.
