Ran with Sisalee today. I was a little nervous since I hadn't done anything longer than 13 since 2012 Boston. I went nice and easy and tried to keep Sisalee reined in u til veyo. She pushed up the hill and through the cinder cone. We just kep a nice pace, and I told her to pace us until we got in town and what ever pace she ran for miles 20-23, I would have her hold that pace for the last 3 miles. She did amazing and was really strong to finish. She beat her marathon PR by 35 minutes. I felt great and always love the feeling at the end of the marathon. This one was special because I ran it with sis. |
