I decided to the sprint tri on tuesday afternoon, since the two gals that were going to do the olympic distance relay with me couldn't make it.  I had only swam once since early in the summer and that was on Wednesday.

It was a blast.  My swim was atrocious, but I felt really strong in the bike.  My time doesn't reflect it, but I felt really fresh for the run.  My run was 7;07 a mile which is a little slower than I thought it would be, but I got 1st in my age group, so that made me feel great.  Now is the time to taper for the big race.

PM I went to WCCC for a treadmill run.  I only got 5 in, because they closed down at 8.  Just nice and easy after the race day.

Nice work on the Tri, 1,000 commando points for the AG Div win, Great job. For not swimming all summer, great overall time. Also, the 7:07, great pace for that course, I think it was longer than a 5K.
