I tried to hussle during the run for kids 10K.  I kept a pretty good pace through the first 4, then the uphill from coral canyon entry through the street light was a killer.  I just held on and drafted an older guy until the top of the hill.  I had very little left, so I backed off about 100 meters to the end.  (43:09)  It was a small race, so I thought my time was going to look decent, then I found out Austin from PV was racing.  He made us all look really bad.  The kid is one big lung!  He did great.

Laur ran with Sis as support.  We both had a terrible night sleep, so I think Laur was happy to coast this race.

The kids did the 1 mile.  Kire won it, but they just gave participation medals.  Lex and Suzy were just happy to get it over with.  Any thing over a 400 is enough for both of them.
